Residents’ Bill of Rights

The Ontario Residents’ Bill of Rights is enshrined in the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 (FLTCA) and its accompanying regulations (O. Reg. 246/22). It outlines the fundamental rights of long-term care home residents and helps ensure they are treated with dignity, respect, and independence.
