OARC’s monthly Forums for Residents’ Council Assistants are designed to help you build confidence and capacity in this important role. Stay up to date on OARC initiatives, sector news and promising practices, and learn alongside others who understand the opportunities and challenges of supporting Residents’ Councils.
Held on the last Tuesday of every month at 1:00pm ET, these interactive one-hour sessions are facilitated by Stephanie Ventura, OARC’s Director of Education.

- Forums are intended for Residents’ Council Assistant (RCA) participants only
- RCA’s may join us using a computer, tablet device or smartphone using the Zoom app
- RCA’s may also participate by phoning in on a telephone toll-free line and manually entering an access code and password combination
- Forums provide a venue for peer-to-peer support and are not formal counseling or therapy
- To support privacy and confidentiality, Residents’ Council Assistant Forums are not recorded. Participants are encouraged to join from a quiet, private space whenever possible. To help create a safe, welcoming, and interactive virtual environment, participants are invited to turn their cameras on during the session.
