Respiratory Season Preparedness Webinar for Residents

As we enter the 2026-27 respiratory illness season, staying informed is an important part of helping residents remain healthy and well supported.

Join the Ontario Association of Residents’ Councils (OARC) for an informative webinar featuring representatives from Ontario’s Ministry of Long-Term Care and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health. Speakers will provide an overview of respiratory season preparedness in Ontario long-term care homes, including seasonal immunization, infection prevention and control measures, outbreak management, and current guidance to help reduce the impact of respiratory illnesses.

This session is an opportunity for residents to learn more about what to expect during respiratory illness season and the role they can play in helping to maintain a safe and healthy home environment.

Residents are encouraged to submit questions when registering, and selected questions will be addressed during the webinar.
